recommend next step when can't determine file

What do you recommend as the next step when Trid can't a determine file type?

Hi!

You may give it a look using MiniDumper, and then post here the output.
Or, if you submit the file to the Online TrID (provided it not contain any sensitive data, off course), and drop me a note using the feedback link, I will give it a look and see if I can be of some help / discover something.

Another great place where to ask info about file formats is FILExt's forum.

Thanks for the reply. Here is mini-dumper output. I am fairly certain this is a compressed set of files, that has had the identifying extension changed , but none of my compression programs recognize it.

Thanks for the dump. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with any file type with this kind of structure. I will put it on my queue of file to investigate, and report back if I found something interesting.
