What do you recommend as the next step when Trid can't a determine file type?

Hi!

You may give it a look using MiniDumper (http://mark0.net/soft-minidumper-e.html), and then post here the output.
Or, if you submit the file to the Online TrID (http://mark0.net/onlinetrid.aspx) (provided it not contain any sensitive data, off course), and drop me a note using the feedback link, I will give it a look and see if I can be of some help / discover something.

Another great place where to ask info about file formats is FILExt (http://www.filext.com/info)'s forum.

Bye!

Thanks for the reply. Here is mini-dumper output. I am fairly certain this is a compressed set of files, that has had the identifying extension changed , but none of my compression programs recognize it.

Thanks for the dump. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with any file type with this kind of structure. I will put it on my queue of file to investigate, and report back if I found something interesting.

Thanks,
Bye!
