Title: Tip: Integrate TrID with Total Commander
Post by: Mark0 on October 09, 2006, 01:48:17 PM
It's very easy to add a button for calling TrID (http://mark0.net/soft-trid-e.html) from Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com/), as an external tool. Just right-click on the button bar and choose "Change...". Then place the box cursor on a suitable place (or click "Append" to add an empty space) and then fill the various fields as follow:

The tool icon could be used both to analyze the currently hilighted file or with drag and drop.

N.B. This obviously assume that TrID is installed on "C:\TrID\". Correct it as needed depending on your installation.
N.B.2 TrIDNet is used just to pickup a suitable icon.

Bye!
