Ram ripping
« on: March 11, 2008, 03:22:39 PM »
Hi Mark0,

Simple question, I think.

I started up a game (2d platformer) then runned WinHex and dumped the whole Ram to a file (1,9 Gb).
I scanned this file with your bitmapRip.exe and it found around 1500 images, all .JPG
The problem is that not a single file is viewable.
Why is this not working.
I did it on another memdump and got the MICROSOFT logo from that. So it's possible...

please help me out.

I'm working on a new version of BitmapRip in the spare time.
I'm confident it will perform much better than the current one.

Bye!
