Title: Q: How do I run TrID?
Post by: Mark0 on January 01, 1970, 01:00:00 PM
TrID (http://mark0.net/soft-trid-e.html) is a command line tool. You cannot simply double click on his icons on Explorer: if you do that, you'll see only a black windows flashing on the screen for a split-second, and then disappear.

Instead, you have to open a Command Prompt, change to the directory where you installed / copied TrID's files, and run it from there. The file to analyze must be sumitted as a parameter.

If you prefere a Graphical User Interface, you can use TrIDNet (http://mark0.net/soft-tridnet-e.html).

Bye!
