i have a xxxxxx.dll file which the programme opens and extracts and runs.
i found out that the dll is not (maybe) a real dll but a sort of zipped file containing a number of htm and java, etc files. Programmes that i have tried say that it is not a valid PE or Dll file. I tried trid but of no use. Another doubt is could it be a autodesk Flic file. How to open the dll file and extract the contents
Thank you ---- Asha

Hi!
If TrID's cannot identify it, it may also be some kind of proprietary / non standard container.
If you want to provide more info about the files, you can either post here an hexdump (you may use MiniDumper (http://mark0.net/soft-minidumper-e.html)) and/or submit it to the Online TrID file identifier (http://mark0.net/onlinetrid.aspx) leaving a comment that remind me of this message, and I'll try to take a look at it.
Bye!
