Title: Problem with big files!
Post by: Josch on September 27, 2009, 01:43:54 AM
Hello.
I ave a isz file with 2,86GB.
trid doesn't ideitify it!
Here is the output:
Code: [Select]
TrID/32 - File Identifier v2.02 - (C) 2003-06 By M.Pontello
Definitions found:  3837
Analyzing...

Collecting data from file: test.isz

Warning: file seems to be plain text/ASCII
TrID is best suited to analyze binary files!

       Unknown!
TrIDNET can identify the file.

The Bug is easily reproduceable.
Just create a empty file, paste this string with a text editor
Code: [Select]
IsZ! and identify it with TrID. It will work. Then fill the file with some data, until it is about 2,5GB and try again.
