Here (http://www.exe64.com/forum/index.php/topic,3.0.html) you can read about the integration TrID with Total Commander.
There is a new plugin for TC (http://en.totalcmd.pl/download/wdx/fls/WDX_TrID) using TrID.
It allows to view results of file identification in custom columns in TC.

Currently it's only a beta version, mainly for testing purposes.
