Title: Can't open file, please help

Hi everyone,

I can't open a file that someone sent me. It's supposed to be mpeg 4 but I tried all players and get an error message. Can someone please help me?

Hi!

Have you tried to analyze it with TrID (http://mark0.net/soft-trid-e.html) (you can try even the Online version (http://mark0.net/onlinetrid.aspx), if the file isn't very big, let's say <= 3MB)?
Anyway, you can try opening it with the free VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/); usually it opens near all video types.
