Title: Cannot extract "Favorite Places" from AOL
Post by: cuddyclothes on July 10, 2012, 04:47:29 PM
I have a drop down menu, "Favorite Places," on AOL, which is different from PFC.  I ran PFCex on it, and it downloaded everything FAST into the Command Prompt area.  I can't find it, and I don't really know where to look. >:(

Also, my command prompt ALWAYS starts:

C:\Documents and Settings\ELISA & JEFF 1234567>*

The numbers are fake, but everything else is EXACTLY how it appears, and I can't seem to get a plain command prompt!  Every time I try to run the program, it says path is not there, batch file does not exist, etc.  I am going out of my mind.  Anyone know how to help?

Hi!

Maybe you can try avoiding the command prompt completely. Just open the folder where you have put PFCEx, and the one where there's your AOL file. Then drag&drop the AOL file over the PFC icon. A new HTML file / icon will appear; double clicking on it will open the browser, showing all the links/URLs that PFCEx will have (eventually) extracted.
