Title: "Filetype: Unknown" and all other fields either equal to null or 0.0%
Post by: bramnet on September 10, 2016, 07:41:55 AM
Hi, so I've got two files that I'm hoping to reverse engineer in order to create modified version of them, but first I need to know what in the world I'm looking at.
your site gave out the following info when I tried to insert FieldTrip1.session
"Match   Ext   File type   MIME type   Related URL   Def's author
0,0%              Unknown!                                                  "
link to FieldTrip1.session https://mega.nz/#!qxoijYYC!sofM_xWWH7I9DRXA6YM6G9-YuDKMgLurR147IDWOK14
link to FieldTrip2.session https://mega.nz/#!T4xiEIhS!01ztsOKBoBWQ7ocxoUO_YnWRBCiUcyx4z3yvP7liRZ8 (got the same error as FieldTrip1.session)
link to where program and files were found https://demoncat.itch.io/aptg

I hope you can help me out here, although a good number of sources and poking around leads me to believe they are binary files of some kind, although every single hex-editor I could find couldn't decode it for me.

Hi!

Indeed at a quick glance the files just seems some binary blobs, with a brief common header.
Since the files don't compress with any significant ratio, probably they are encrypted in some way.
