Hello trid users,
some days ago i run TrID inside Novell DOS 7 directory.
4 of 20 files with msg file name extension are identified by
dat-novell-msg.trid.xml as "Novell Message Librarian Data (v1.00)" and
1 file with idx file name extension is identified by
dat-novell-err.trid.xml as "Novell Error Librarian Data (v1.00)" ( see
appended output/trid-v-old.txt ).
But the TrID definition only mention file name extension "dat". So i
update the 2 definitions. I add MSG extension to
dat-novell-msg.trid.xml and IDX extension to dat-novell-err.trid.xml.
With the 2 updated definition files the additional extensions are now
also shown (see appended output/trid-v-new.txt). TrID definitions,
some examples and output are stored in msg_idx.zip. I hope that my XML
files can be used in future version of triddefs.
