Hi!
TrIDNet haven't been updated because is stable and working well (within the design idea I had).
The results are the same of the command line TrID, or the TrIDEngine / TrIDLib libraries.
The filetypes' definitions are what is often updated, and again all the TrID* tools can and does use the same.
TrIDNet read directly the definitions in the source / XML format; TrID use a packaged version (created from the XML files using the TrIDDefsPack tool) to be more quick to run when invoked from the command line.
In the future a new version of TrIDNet will be probably be able to use the same TRD packages, and autoupdate it whenever a new one is published on my site.
Hope this clears things a bit,
Bye!
