atp extension instead of mp3

I am seeing a lot of files recognised with an .atp extension, but the files are mp3's. I seem to be the only one with the problem

Since both format can start with an ID3, maybe the ATP definition is a bit too specific and contains also some patterns/strings that doesn't necessary indicate an ATP file.
Can you share a couple of those files? You can submit them to http://mark0.net/onlinetrid.html and leave a comment/message so that I can trace them.
