Hello trid users,

some days ago i run TrID with verbose option again on some Mozilla
database files found inside Thunderbird profile directory ( see
appended output/trid-v-old.txt).

Mozilla Address Book samples like abook.mab are described by definitions
mab.trid.xml, but no mime type is shown. Because such samples are just
text files at least this should be expressed by additional line like:
   <Mime>text/plain</Mime>

Furthermore the URL http://www.mozilla.org is too generic. Instead on
Wikipedia there exist a page about that Mozilla mork file format. This
is now expressed by line:
   <RefURL>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mork_(file_format)</RefURL>

Some Mozilla Mail Summary files like maildir-joerg-2.msf are not
detected. After running tridscan in global strings section 1 line vanish:
   <String>NUMREFS</String>

Third mork variant like sample panacea.dat is is not detected by trid.
This is identified by newest file command utility ( See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_(command)) as "Mozilla Mork
database, version 1.4, mail folder cache" ( see appended
output/file-new.txt).

After running tridscan on all my panacea.dat files and deleting lines
in global section i finally get dat-mork.trid.xml.

With new trid definitions all three Mozilla mork files are now
described ( see appended output/trid-v-new.txt) more precisely also
with mime type. TrID definitions, some examples and output are stored
in archive mab.zip. I hope that my 3 XML files can be used in future
version of triddefs.

With best wishes
J?rg Jenderek
