You can try a Totalcmd plugin: http://en.totalcmd.pl/download/wdx/fls/WDX_TrID.
It's still a beta though.....

I have installed the plugin into my total commander.
But it still excludes sub-directories.
What do I have to do, to make 2wdx_trid" work with sub-directories?

Try activate Total Commander "Branch View" (from the Command menu, or with [CTRL]+).
